Do you wonder why you have frequent stomach problems even though you are not eating badly?
Do you feel tired and sluggish all the time?
Do you often have back pains, muscle pains or headaches?
Here's why you feel this way...
The Gut-Brain Connection
You may have already guessed that there is a connection between our brains and our guts.
What you probably don’t know is what I’m about to tell you.
The Intestine, most frequently known as Colon, is the only organ in our body, besides our brain, that has its own sensory neurons system.
What does it mean? It means that it has a life of its own.
Yes, that’s right (and scary😂). And not only that, our intestine is directly connected with our brain back and forth. So basically our intestine feels everything our brain feels and the other way around.
That's why whenever we are nervous, anxious or stressed we have instant stomach problems and this is also why we feel like taking a nap after eating heavy food.
So you see the connection now? Do you see how the stress from both sides can affect each other?
What happens to our intestine when we are stressed?
The intestine is in charge of absorbing useful nutrients for our bodies and eliminating (💩) those that are not useful.
The problem is that, when our Intestine/Colon is getting stressed by our brain signals, it starts to mess up those tasks and not all unuseful matter is eliminated.
Wouldn't be also hard for you to do your tasks while being irritated or stressed by someone else?
A stressed Colon is an Irritated Colon with Irritable Bowel Syndrome or IBS.
When our Colon's task of eliminating unuseful matter is not working properly our body runs using "Bad fuel", which cause you of Tiredness and Lack of Energy.
This will also make your blood torrent, who is in charge of irrigating your muscles and joints, get contaminated with unuseful particles which will end up causing you Body Pains.
The specific part of your body in which you experience pain has everything to do with Emotions. If you want to learn more about this go to my Biodecoding blog post.
Eating bad is not good for Anxiety
If your colon is already stressed by your brain signals of stress (or anxiety), and besides that it has to handle bad food, it gets even more stressed and sends these stress signals to your brain causing more Anxiety that it already had in the first place.
How do we help ourselves?
How do you help your Colon?
Eating healthy food of course, the first step and the easiest one.
What then? Lowering your anxiety levels, the second step and the hardest one.
It is hard of course. To lower your Anxiety levels you must change your habits and the way you are used to thinking, which is no easy task. But it is one of the kindest acts of self-love you can do for yourself, and it won't only help your Colon, it will change your life tremendously.
Embarking yourself on a Journey of Self-Discovery by own choice, that's courage, that's what self-love is about. And is something to be very proud of, because most people don't have that courage.
Conclusion
Our intestine is the only smart organ in our body besides our brain and is directly connected with our brain back and forth. So our intestine feels everything our brain feels and the other way around.
To stop your brain emotions from negatively affecting your Intestine or Colon you must lower your anxiety or stress levels.
To stop your Intestine from negatively affecting your Brain you must eat healthy, you must eat the right way.
